college and all that..

well , i am currently bunked at campbell university... yay...

college is not everything I was hoping it would be. The classes are harder, which is a no brainer... and I have no problem with that... I love a challenge, but what else is there to do after classes... here= NOTHING! I hang with some people but most of my friends have classes earlier in the morning and most of mine are late in the afternoon and at night... I thought that would be a good thing but I guess not.

Today, tuesday is my hardest day.. I am finally laying down for a rest for the first time today... omg...
I started with a lab today for Biology where I gave my termite some form of brain injury to where he would only walk in circles around a stright line he was supposed to follow... kinda like what i want to do right now... :[
I passed the lab with a 100 atleast.. OH! the cool part about lab is we have to have an alias to post our grades publicly... Mine's so damn random.. most people said bubbles, or elastic or something... me, I wanted mine to be Capt. Hook!!! LOL!
Anyways, after that I had chemistry where my professor was obsessed with Bar jokes... Man walked into a bar, he said ouch! String walked into a bar, bartender asks "are you a piece of string," he says "no, I'm a fraid knot".
In other words, it got old fast... but he's still cool.
Then i had history with my extremely hyper professor... she could talk all day and she seems so into what she lectures about... how many monsters does she drink before class? at least she loves what she does..
And finally, I have English in about an hour lasting from 6pm-9pm... I wanna cry...
so yeah, tuesdays are bad... but I have no classes friday and one class monday so i cant really complain..
Thank god for my room mate and meghan... I couldnt survive without them!
We had a bad ass storm the other night, flooding our campus and we ran through the flood and lightning and thunder back up to my dorm... Crys had an umbrella and me and megs got soaked and loved it!

anyways, I'm off to eat dinner with megs and I miss all my friends in Monroe!
Oh, yeah
11 months today! WOO!
<3 caitie

so yeah, i finally found my live journal.
last night was senior prom and I have a few things to get out about it. First of all, I loved it! I'll never forget how megs and i were chillin in the back of our limo and dancing, especially at prom, how big, juicy meat is no lnger a good adjective to describe food, and alot more. I think my fav part of the night was when all of us attempted to do the slide, but failed cause no one could hear the commands... lol...

anyways, here's the part I need to get out. Last night, I broke up with Brodie. We were talking on the phone and I just came out and told him that Josh and I had kissed. I told him the reason I was breaking up with him was not because I wanted to date josh, but because we both know that a long distance relationship will not work. 80% of a relationship is physical he said, and I agree. We were both a little unhappy whenever the other would go out b/c we couldn't be there for each other. Last night when I was with Josh, it really opened my eyes. I asked to break it off, which we did on good terms i guess, because this would be the second time something like this has happened, and who knows if it would happen again if I was still with him.
I know now that I can be happy with about anyone. I was finally brought forth to confront my feelings for Josh and I guess the same for him. I'm glad in a way.
I'm sorry to brodie because for 7 months as of yesterday, we thought something would happen, but last night, we both realized that long distance relationships do not work.
I'm kinda thankful that we got out everything I guess we needed to say. DOesn't make me feel better about the whole thing, but one thing I am glad about is that I can say that last night didn't really cause this... I guess we both had a shadow in the back of our minds about this for a long time.
so for now, lets see if happiness is not only a tear drop away...
